Tally e-invoicing in the UAE: the one ERP that's also its own ASP — and the 9 alternatives that connect to it

From the ASP Select research desk · public claims reviewed across all 52 registered providers (48 accredited + 9 pre-approved), 28–30 August 2026 · verify current dates at mof.gov.ae
Short answer: Tally is the odd one out of the UAE mandate. Unlike QuickBooks or Xero, Tally Software Solutions FZCO is itself on the Ministry of Finance accredited register, and TallyPrime 7 ships a built-in Peppol access point with native UAE-format (PINT AE) invoice generation. A TallyPrime business therefore has two legal routes: use Tally as its own ASP, or connect Tally to one of at least 9 other accredited ASPs that advertise Tally connectors. The right choice depends on your structure — not on marketing.

Route 1: TallyPrime as its own ASP

Tally's UAE pages describe the native capability plainly: compliant invoices generated "the moment they are recorded", "one-click five-corner exchange", native PINT AE XML, single or batch delivery, and selection of Tally as your ASP through the EmaraTax portal. Trade press reports TallyPrime achieving OpenPeppol certification as both a sender and receiver access point for the UAE. For the thousands of UAE SMEs already running Tally, this is the shortest possible path: no connector, no second vendor, no data leaving your existing workflow.

What it costs — rare public numbers

Tally's own UAE e-invoicing page publishes no pricing (like 46 of the 52 providers), but TallyPrime licence prices are widely published by its official UAE partners:

ItemPublished price (excl. VAT)
TallyPrime Silver (single user), perpetualAED 2,340
TallyPrime Gold (multi user), perpetualAED 7,020
TSS renewal — Silver / Gold, per yearAED 842 / AED 2,527
Subscription plansfrom ~AED 63/month
The claim to pin down in writing: partner sources state the Peppol access point and PINT AE generator are included in the standard TallyPrime licence — no separate ASP fee. Tally itself has not published this. If true, it makes Tally one of the most economical routes in the market for a single-entity SME; so ask Tally directly: is exchange included, are there per-invoice fees at volume, and what exactly does the TSS renewal cover?

Route 2: the 9 other accredited ASPs that advertise Tally connectors

Native isn't automatically right for everyone. These accredited providers publicly claim Tally connectivity — useful if you run multiple systems, older Tally versions, or want an independent ASP layer:

ProviderWhat they claim publicly
TronStride native moduleTally named among ERP integrations, with native modules cited for Tally (alongside Odoo and SAP Business One).
ClearTax dedicated pageTally in its named UAE connector list, with a dedicated Tally-integration page; third-party reviews praise its Tally integration in other markets.
AdvintekTally named in its accreditation press release, within a "50+ pre-built connectors" catalogue.
ComplyanceTally/TallyPrime explicitly named in a long supported-platform list.
Cygnet"SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, and more" — claims compatibility with 300+ ERP systems.
FynamicsTally in its supported-ERP list; positions as ERP-agnostic connectors ("we don't develop on your ERP").
Infinite ITTally named on its UAE e-invoicing page among SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, Sage.
MarminTally named on homepage; "ERP agnostic by design", including fully custom systems.
TaxillaTally named alongside Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics on its UAE mandate guide.

As always in this market: these are public claims as of 28–30 August 2026, not verified contracts — connector depth, edition support, and pricing must be confirmed in writing.

Native or connector? How to decide

Native Tally tends to win when…

  • You're a single company with one TRN and a standard sales flow
  • You're already on (or can upgrade to) TallyPrime 7.x
  • Cost matters most — if the licence-inclusion claim confirms, this is hard to beat
  • Your team lives in Tally and you want zero new tools

A third-party ASP tends to win when…

  • You're a group with multiple TRNs — Tally's UAE multi-TRN handling isn't publicly documented; several ASPs make it a headline feature
  • You run mixed systems (Tally + others) and want one ASP across all of them
  • You need a documented inbound (accounts-payable) workflow, dashboards, or archiving beyond what's in-product
  • You want contractual local support — Tally's listed support channels are India-based numbers, and Arabic support isn't documented publicly; its UAE reseller network fills the gap informally
  • You're staying on Tally ERP 9 and won't upgrade

The 6 Tally-specific questions to settle in writing

  1. Licence inclusion: is the e-invoice exchange included in my TallyPrime licence/TSS — or are there per-invoice or activation fees? (Ask Tally; don't rely on partner blogs.)
  2. Version: exactly which TallyPrime release do I need, and what does the upgrade from my current version involve — masters cleanup, ledger alignment, testing time?
  3. Multi-TRN: how are multiple registrations handled — in one installation, at what cost, with what reporting?
  4. Inbound invoices: what does receiving supplier e-invoices look like day-to-day — inside Tally, or a separate portal?
  5. Support: who answers when an invoice is rejected at 4pm on a Thursday — Tally, a reseller, or the connector ASP? In which language, under what SLA?
  6. If using a connector ASP: which Tally editions/releases does the connector support, is sync two-way, and is the connector priced separately? (Full checklist: the 12 questions.)
