SAP e-invoicing in the UAE: the native route, 26 connector providers, and the question that separates them

MoF register checked 31 August 2026 · provider materials reviewed 28–31 August 2026 · how we grade this data
Answer first: if you run SAP you have two routes. SAP itself is on the UAE register — its MENA entity is a registered provider and handles e-invoicing through SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) inside your existing landscape. Or you appoint one of the 26 other registered providers that publicly claim SAP connectivity. The decision is not "native versus third party" in the abstract — it is which SAP you actually run. Of those 27 providers, only 8 name a specific SAP product line. The remaining 19 print the word "SAP" in a list of logos, and S/4HANA, ECC and Business One are three genuinely different projects.

"We integrate with SAP" is not a specification

SAP is not one product. In UAE mid-market and enterprise finance you will meet at least three, and they do not share an integration path:

What you might runWhat it isWhy the integration differs
SAP S/4HANA
Cloud or on-premise
The current enterprise suite.Modern data model and APIs. Cloud and on-premise editions differ in what you may extend, so "S/4HANA" alone still leaves a question.
SAP ECC
ERP 6.0, legacy
The previous generation, still widely running in UAE groups.Different tables and extension model. A connector built for S/4HANA does not simply drop onto ECC.
SAP Business One
B1
SAP's SME product — a separate product, not a small S/4HANA.Entirely different codebase and partner ecosystem. Support for B1 tells you nothing about S/4HANA, and vice versa.

This is why the count that matters is not "how many providers say SAP" but "how many say which". Here is what the register actually discloses:

ProviderS/4HANAECCBusiness OneWhat they publish
Advintek✓✓✓Names all three lines explicitly, and publishes an SAP-specific onboarding claim of "typically 5–7 business days".
HAMT / EVATRA✓✓—"SAP S/4HANA and ECC … and others via API", plus a published SAP integration guide of its own. Business One appears only under its wider IT practice, not its e-invoicing product — so we do not count it here.
Orchida✓✓—The strongest depth wording on the register: "native, pre-built, bi-directional connectors for SAP S/4HANA & ECC" mapped to PINT AE.
Fynamics✓—✓Lists S/4HANA and Business One as separate selectable options.
Victorian✓——Names S/4HANA within its enterprise-software list.
TronStride——✓Cites a native module for SAP Business One specifically — the clearest B1 signal on the register.
Flick Network——✓Lists SAP among partners; documented SAP B1 integration work, though the public evidence is from the Saudi ZATCA programme rather than the UAE.
SAP (the vendor itself)✓✓✓Native route — SAP DRC, covered below.
The other 19 name no line at all. Casim, Comarch, Covoro, Cygnet, Infinite IT, Information Dynamics, InvoiceNow, InvoiceQ, Marmin, McBitss, Moro Hub, Pagero, Skill Quotient, Spendconsole, SunTec, Suntech, Taxilla, Techventures and Zennovate all reference SAP without saying which product. That is not evidence they cannot do it — several are clearly enterprise-focused, and a few may well have deeper SAP capability than providers on the list above. It means the question is unanswered in public and you must ask it. Read "not published" as unanswered, never as no — see our methodology.

Two useful details inside that group. InvoiceQ is the only one to distinguish deployment models rather than product lines — it claims "enterprise-grade SAP integration supporting both cloud and on-premise deployments", which is a meaningful distinction even without naming a line. And McBitss traces to a Swiss company with an SAP HCM/ERP services heritage — genuine SAP background, but heritage is not a UAE PINT AE connector, and McBitss is pre-approved, not yet fully accredited.

One name we deliberately left out. EDICOM is widely known in the market as an SAP integrator, and you will see it described that way elsewhere. We could not find that claim on EDICOM's own fetched pages, so it does not appear in our count of 27. We would rather undercount than credit a provider with a claim we cannot show you the source for.

Route 1 — SAP DRC, the native option

Native

SAP Document and Reporting Compliance

SAP's MENA entity is on the Ministry of Finance register, and SAP's April 2026 announcement described it as the first ERP provider to reach the Ministry's list. E-invoicing runs through SAP DRC inside your own S/4HANA or ECC landscape rather than through an external portal, which is the structural argument for it: no second system of record, and compliance logic sits where the billing document already lives. SAP also states DRC works "even if billing documents are managed in non-SAP systems", and DRC is a multi-country compliance product, which matters if you file in Saudi Arabia or Egypt as well.

What SAP does not publish about the UAE offering. We graded SAP on the same 12 dimensions as everyone else. It is silent on four of them — volume and scale, multi-entity/multi-TRN handling, security and hosting specifics, and contract terms — which is above the register's median of three. There is no published UAE pricing either: DRC is licensed as an add-on and the public answer is contact sales. For the largest ERP vendor in the world, the UAE-specific public documentation is unusually thin, and the one SAP support note we found (KBA 3729281) sits behind a login.
Treat the "months to configure" claim with care. The only public statement we found about SAP DRC onboarding time is a competitor's: a third-party connector vendor asserts DRC "takes months to configure" while its own connector deploys in 6 to 12 weeks. That is a marketing claim by an interested party, not an SAP figure, and we report it flagged rather than repeat it as fact. Ask SAP for its own number, in days, in writing.

Route 2 — a third-party provider with an SAP connector

Connector

When this beats going native

The one SAP claim on the register that is confirmed in writing Data confirmed ✓

Of all 27 SAP claims, exactly one has been confirmed to us directly by the provider rather than read off a website: Casim confirmed on 30 August 2026 that it is ERP-agnostic and builds connectors itself, naming SAP among them — and confirmed alongside it a standard integration of roughly 6 weeks, native multi-TRN support, inbound and outbound on all tiers, and banded SME pricing from AED 2,900/year. We are not recommending Casim over anyone; it is simply the only SAP-related answer on this page that is a commitment rather than a claim. That ratio — 1 confirmed out of 27 — is the honest state of this market today, and the reason we ask providers in writing.

Six questions to send before you sign

1
Which SAP line and version, exactly?

"S/4HANA 2023 on-premise" or "ECC 6.0 EHP8" or "Business One 10.0". If the answer is just "SAP", nothing has been answered.

2
Is the connector certified, pre-built, or built for us?

Three different prices, timelines and risk profiles. Ask who owns the mapping when SAP or the PINT AE specification changes.

3
Does it write status back into SAP?

One-way extraction leaves your finance team reconciling in a portal. Orchida is the only provider on the register publicly using the word bi-directional — make everyone else state it explicitly.

4
How are our multiple TRNs and company codes handled?

Multi-TRN is unpublished for 27 of the 52 providers, SAP included. For a group running several company codes in one client, this is the question most likely to surface after signature.

5
Inbound as well as outbound?

The mandate is a five-corner exchange; you will receive as well as send. Get AP handling in the contract, not the demo.

6
Sandbox with our own SAP data, before signature?

A connector demo on the vendor's tenant proves very little about your chart of accounts and your document types.

The full version of this list, ERP-agnostic, is in the twelve questions to ask before signing, and the wording that makes competing quotes comparable is in which ASP should you choose.

The dates you are working against

30 October 2026
Appoint your provider — businesses with revenue ≥ AED 50M
1 January 2027
Mandatory go-live for that first group
31 March 2027
Appoint your provider — all other businesses
1 July 2027
Mandatory go-live for everyone else

SAP landscapes are rarely quick. If you are in the first group, an ECC integration scoped in November leaves little room, and the queue in front of every provider grows as October approaches. Details in the four deadlines, and on who runs the mandate in MoF versus FTA.

ECC — Advintek وHAMT/EVATRA وOrchida.
